Our Process

There are two ways our clients typically work with us. The first way is to hire us for media stewardship as dictated by an established marketing plan and budget. In this role, we provide integrated planning, negotiation, buying, analytics, optimization and reconciliation of online and offline media to influence audience behavior.

We often also help clients beyond media planning and implementation, working with them to clarify and understand their broader marketing framework. Using our proprietary Discovery and Roadmap process, we can help articulate the overall marketing opportunities, planning roadmap and budget that ultimately drive a successful media strategy and intended results.

In mid-2020, we added a new partner, Bob Bolinger, another longtime friend with a stellar background in broadcast media management. Along with that move, we changed the DBA of our firm to CSBimpact.

BOB CERASOLI, Managing Partner

Bob’s career spans brand management with Proctor & Gamble, advertising and product management with Southland Corporation/7-Eleven, and ad agency management with Franklin & Associates Advertising. He built the agency into San Diego’s largest before selling it and retiring the first time. Following an 8-year span as an entrepreneur/co-founder of two technology start-ups, he teamed up with Mike Stafford to co-found CerasoliStafford.

MIKE STAFFORD, Partner

Mike's career began with an ad agency but he quickly found his true passion was in broadcast media. His career path led from radio sales to sales management to station and station group management, including Jefferson Pilot's San Diego station group. He teamed up with Bob Cerasoli in 2003 to co-found CerasoliStafford. Mike's decades on the broadcast side of the business provide insights and perspective helping us build strong media partnerships for the benefit of our clients.

BOB BOLINGER, Partner

Bob’s career includes lead executive management roles with major broadcast radio groups including Entercom, iHeart Media and CBS Radio. Across his career, he innovated significant programs to enhance the effectiveness of the radio platform, and has guided national, regional and local advertisers to major marketing success. Bob is also deeply committed to the San Diego community, serving on numerous boards including YMCA of San Diego, The Jacobs Cushman San Diego Food Bank and the SDCCU Holiday Bowl.
